Welcome to My Personal Page!
Hi, my name is Hadar Vaanunu. I am from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and I graduated from Ben Gamla Charter Preparatory High School last June. As many of you know I am spending the year studying at Sharfmans in Jerusalem. This year is all about personal growth, maturation, understanding more about Judaism and spirituality, and of course, Chesed, helping others. I have decided that giving to others and truly trying to make a difference will be a focus for me this year. For that reason, I recently registered to run in the Jerusalem Marathon, Half-Marathon, 10k, & 5k, taking place on March 9th, 2018,as a part of Team Butterfly. Let me tell you about Team Butterfly, Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB)– “The Worst Disease You’ve Never Heard Of”, and the cause that I care deeply about.
Team Butterfly raises money and runs for children that unfortunatly suffer from EB, a disorder that causes blisters or tears in the skin from even minor friction or contact. The name Team Butterfly comes from the nickname "butterfly children," which is given to kids with EB because their skin is as fragile as a butterfly's wings. In many severe cases these children do not make it past the early stages of life. Sponsor me in my run and know that all the proceeds go to The Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa Research Assosiation of America. Sponsoring me means helping to take great steps in the search for a cure and helps the families who have a child with EB.
Please help and donate to my page and help kids with EB live happy and healthy lives.
No Donation is too big or too small. Together WE can reach the goal of an EB free world!!
Thank you for all your support!
